Ken Raymond has been involved in many entrepreneurial endeavors in the areas of finance, hospitality and real estate over his successful career. Mr. Raymond is presently the Broker/Co-Owner of both Coldwell Banker/Prime Properties residential and commercial real estate companies, which are two of the largest real estate franchise operations in New York State, and the residential company is the 5th largest Coldwell Banker franchise affiliate internationally. Mr. Raymond has also founded a registered mortgage banker operation, Home Funding Finders, Inc., and from start-up as President & CEO Mr. Raymond grew the business to over 125 employees, until it was sold in 2010 to SEFCU Mortgage Services, Inc. Mr. Raymond remains a Director of the subsidiary, and SEFCU Mortgage has now grown to become the largest residential lender in the NYS Capital Region marketplace. Mr. Raymond also co-founded a commercial mortgage broker, Paragon Prime Funding, which is now the 2nd largest commercial lender in the NYS Capital Region. In the hospitality business for over 30 years, Mr. Raymond has developed successful partnerships with national hotel franchisors such as Holiday Inn Express, Hilton, Days Inn and Hotel Indigo, to develop, own and operate successful hotels throughout upstate New York with skillful site selection, local-knowledge development, and incentive-oriented employee and management hiring and personnel development. In real estate, Mr. Raymond has grown the residential Coldwell Banker/Prime Properties business over 25 years to over 500 employees and agents today. Mr. Raymond organized his co-owned group of commercial companies under the tradename “Prime Companies”, under which his team of over 50 employees manage extensive owned properties, develop land for residential sub-divisions and commercial buildings, as well construction management and ownership of large residential, apartment complexes. Mr. Raymond maintains a strong presence in the NYS Capital Region community, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees at Siena College in Loudonville, NY, as well as trustee responsible for meeting the housing needs for Catholic Charities. He is also a trustee of St. Gregory’s School for boys in Loudonville, NY, and he is Board Member of Friends for Adoption. Ken is also active with Coaches v. Cancer which raises funds for cancer research, and is very active in many other charitable organizations. He is a lifelong resident of the Capital Region.
